Tura is a small village of 2502 hectares in Sayla Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tura depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Tura's pin code is 343022[4], and village code is 02276000. The area of Tura is segregated as 1043 hectares irrigated area, 601 hectares unirrigated, the 102 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 756 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tura is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 3329 and has total administration over 529 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
