Tukliya is a small village of 1749 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tukliya depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tukliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Tukliya's pin code is 342902[4], and village code is 01829100. The area of Tukliya is segregated as 274.06 hectares irrigated area, 872.06 hectares unirrigated, the 130.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 473.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tukliya is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1290 and has total administration over 239 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Merta City and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
