Tuana Yazici (born 19 April 2000) is a Turkish-American attorney, entrepreneur, nonprofit executive, and helicopter pilot. She is the founder, chair, and chief executive officer of Tuana Group, which oversees the space-technology ventures AeroAI Voyages and AeroAI DesignLab, and the founder and chief executive officer of AeroAI Global Solutions, Inc., a nonprofit organisation focused on the application of space technologies and artificial intelligence to humanitarian, environmental, and governance challenges.[1][2]
AeroAI Global Solutions was recognised as a provisional observer by the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) in 2025.[3]
Early life and education
Yazici was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on 19 April 2000, and moved to Florida at the age of 9.[4] She earned a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (with a minor in Psychology), an M.A. in International Administration with a focus on space law and global governance, and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.[5][6][7] She held her first art exhibition at age four,[8] and later became the author of four children’s books.[4]
Career
In 2023, Yazici founded AeroAI Global Solutions, a nonprofit organisation that uses space technologies and artificial intelligence to address challenges in human rights, animal welfare, and environmental protection. One of the organisation’s initiatives, AeroAI Guardian, was profiled by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for its use of multi-sensor Earth-observation data to support counter-trafficking efforts and the introduction of geospatial evidence into judicial processes.[9]
In 2024, she initiated and became the Chair of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) Working Group on Legal Aspects of AI in Space. The Working Group produced the report Balancing Innovation and Responsibility: International Recommendations for AI Regulation in Space, published in December 2024 and submitted to the United Nations COPUOS Legal Subcommittee as CRP.14.[10][11]

Yazici's work has been profiled by several media outlets. In 2025, Coral Gables Magazine published a feature profile discussing her work in applying space technologies and artificial intelligence to humanitarian and environmental challenges.[1]
Her work was also featured by Radio New Zealand's Our Changing World, which discussed the growing accessibility of space technologies and their application to public-interest initiatives.[2]
