A Triratna Buddhist community (previously known as the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO)) is a worldwide fellowship of Buddhists and those who aim to follow the path of mindfulness established by Triratna Buddhist Community. It was created in 1967 in the United Kingdom by Sangharakshita (born Dennis Philip Edward Lingwood), and defines itself as "an worldwide network committed to teaching Buddhist principles in manners that are fit for the contemporary world." Although it adheres to Buddhist traditions, it also takes into consideration current concepts, which are mostly borrowed from Western philosophy, psychology, and visual arts.

More than 100 organisations are linked with the community across the world, including those in North America, Australasia, and Europe, among others. It is one of the major Buddhist groups in the United Kingdom, with over 30 metropolitan centres and retreat centres. The Adhisthana retreat centre in Coddington, Herefordshire, serves as the worldwide headquarters for the organisation. The Triratna Bauddha Mahsagha (TBM) is the organisation with the greatest following in India, where it was formerly known as the Trailokya Bauddha Mahasangha Sahayaka Gana (TBMSG).

The community has been referred to as "perhaps the most successful effort to establish an ecumenical transnational Buddhist organisation," according to some. The organisation has also been criticised for lacking a "spiritual lineage," and claims of sexual exploitation and abuse have been levelled against it throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
