Triin Lellep (born 29.12.1985, in Tartu) is an Estonian soprano and crossover singer.

Education

Lellep graduated from Tartu Descartes Lyceum in 2005, Georg Ots Tallinn Music School in 2009 and Helsinki Conservatory in 2011, where she majored in classical singing. From 2015, she continued her studies in musicology at the 8th University of Paris.

Career

From 2013 to 2014, Lellep worked at the opera agency International Opera Artists as an opera agent. Since 2014, Lellep has been living in Paris and working as a freelance singer there. Since 2018, she has been the soloist of the Orchestra Du Center Philharmonique. Since 2020, she has been working in the crossover music scene, mixing classical music with pop, rap, ethno and oriental sounds. In 2020, she published the book My Paris (Petrone Print). Together with Margus Vaher, Lellep has co-hosted the program "SuhteVimkad" in Kanal2 (2020) and Kanal11 (2021) and together with Mart Sander the TV3 program Duubel: Õhtune vahetus (2021). Lellep made her film actor's debut in Mart Sander's film "Women's War" (2021) and in the collection of short horror films Duubel 13 (2021).

Personal life

Triin Lellep has two brothers Taavi Lellep and Tõnis Lellep. Her father is Rein Lellep and mother Ly Lellep.
