Travis Bazzana (born 28 August 2002), is an Australian professional baseball second baseman for the Sydney Blue Sox of the Australian Baseball League. He is currently committed to play baseball at Oregon State University.
Early life
Bazzana began playing baseball at the age of three. He grew up playing not only baseball, but also cricket, rugby, soccer, basketball, and track and field.[1]
In 2019 Bazzana represented Australia at the U18 World Baseball Cup, where he got six hits and four Run batted in.
Career
Bazzana began his ABL career in 2018, playing three games and finishing the season with an on-base percentage of .500.
The following season Bazzana played in seven games and had eleven at-bats, finishing with a Batting average (baseball) of .182.
In 2020 Bazzana had a breakout campaign where he batted .304 with an impressive OBP of .448 in 23 at-bats.[2]
