Towerbell Records was a London based independent record label, created by Bob and Natasha England in 1980,[1][2] along with their England (Song) Publishing Company. The business enjoyed chart success, most notably with Chas & Dave who had a string of UK Chart hits on subsidiary label Rockney. Other hits included releases from Snowy White and Joe Fagin, with album releases from Shirley Bassey,Cilla Black,Justin Hayward and Nils Lofgren amongst others.

Latterly the business ventured into the hits compilation market, often backed by expensive TV adverts which proved to be economically nonviable, ultimately leading to the demise of Towerbell in 1986.[3]
