Tond is a small village of 449 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tond depends on LALSOT, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tond is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tond's pin code is 322030[4], and village code is 01300800. The area of Tond is segregated as 290.2 hectares irrigated area, 22.62 hectares unirrigated, the 33.94 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 102.62 hectare area not available for cultivation.
