Tomer Biran (Hebrew: תומר בירן; born July 10, 1976) is an award-winning Israeli Record producer, composer, and arranger. He is best known for his musical productions, compositions, and arrangements for global brands such as BMW, Huawei, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Lenor, and Mercedes Benz

Biran is also producing for Israeli artists such as Hanan Ben Ari, Amir Dadon, Rita, Shiri Maimon and more. He's trusted by global artists Snoop Dogg, Luis Fonsi, Nicole Scherzinger, Coi Leray, Saucy Santana and Latto.

Early life

Tomer Biran began playing the keyboards when he received an Electric piano as a gift from his relative at an early age. Right after, he learned to read and write music notes with a private teacher.

In his teenage, Biran studied and lived in a Boarding School of Arts at Mitzpe Ramon, where he expanded his studies in the music major.

Career

Tomer’s break into film composing was the 2002 American slasher film Halloween: Resurrection. From there he has provided additional music and arrangements on films and TV series such as Lord of War (Lionsgate Films), Click (Columbia Pictures), RV, Man in the Chair (Outsider Pictures), Sex and the City (HBO), The Sopranos, and more.

Biran has composed and produced music for hundreds of promotional films and commercial campaigns, including trailers for the highest-grossing film of 2010 Toy Story 3 (Pixar by Walt Disney Studios) and promotional campaign music for worldwide brands such as P&G, CocaCola, Mercedes-Benz, Lenor, Xiaomi, BMW, Carrefour, Sprite, Subaru, SodaStream, Alibaba Group, Huawei, Skyworth, Oppo, Huggies, Samsung, and many more.

Tomer has also collaborated with global advertising agencies, including McCann, Grey, BBDO, DDB, TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, and Publicis.

Since 2015, Biran has acted as an expert consultant in law and provides professional opinions to companies on music lawsuits.

In 2019 Tomer was asked by Galgalatz to produce the song A Tribe of Brothers & Sisters (שבט אחים ואחיות, Shevet Achim ve Achayot). 34 major Israeli singers participated in the recording of the song. The profits from the song will be donated to the Sachi program (סח"י) - a unique charity patrol that deals with empowering at-risk youth.

Biran is the sample producer behind the replay of 1970 hit "Are You My Woman? (Tell Me So)" by The Chi-Lites that played on Saucy Santana's song Booty featuring Latto.

In May 2023 a new sample replay produced by Biran was the 60's hit It's My Party by Lesley Gore sampled in the song My Body by the American rapper and singer Coi Leray.
