Tom Gribby (born August 4, 1985) is a British talent agent, theatre producer and entrepreneur.

Early life

Gribby was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. He attended Abbey Road Primary School, West Bridgford and then Nottingham High School, where he left at GCSE level to attend drama school.

Career

Gribby has appeared as a performer in shows such as Fame the Musical, Hairspray (musical) and A Chorus Line, before continuing as a choreographer for global events, such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class launch in Hong Kong, and productions including "In the Spotlight - Songs From The Musicals" with Faye Tozer[1]. In 2015, Gribby founded Northbridge Talent, a London based Talent Agency, successfully represented musical theatre performers and actors in all areas of the industry: Theatre, Television, Film, Commercials and Dance, where he continues as Head Agent [2] [3] Gribby was founder of Tom Gribby Theatre School, a children's theatre school in Newark-on-Trent, which closed in 2019 [4]. He made his theatre producing debut in February 2020 with the UK Premiere of The Pirate Queen by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg: a one night charity concert at the London Coliseum in aid of Leukaemia UK, starring Rachel Tucker and Hannah Waddingham, Jai McDowall, Matt Pagan, Earl Carpenter, Daniel Boys and an ensemble and choir cast of over 60 performers [5]. Gribby is also co-director of textile brand BASK Menswear [6]

Charity work

Gribby raised over £10,000 for Leukaemia UK with his producing debut of Boublil & Schönberg's The Pirate Queen at the London Coliseum in February 2020 [7]. He also raised over £10,000 for Save The Children with housemate Aimie Atkinson, performing a 24 hour Musical-athon during the first lockdown of 2020 [8].

Personal life

Gribby lives in London with housemate and West End actress Aimie Atkinson.[9] Throughout the first UK lockdown in 2020, they kept fans entertained with their virtual coffee mornings.
