Tomás Giovanetti Alejandro (San Isidro, November 12, 1998) is an Argentine entrepreneur, recognized for founding TGA Entertainment[1][2][3], a corporate gaming company. In December 2020, he was included in the list of the "35 Most Innovative Latin Americans" published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology[4]. He has also been nominated by the Junior Chamber International JCI of Buenos Aires as a Young Outstanding Personality of 2021 and considered as one of the Next 1000 semi-finalists by Forbes USA 2021.

Biography

Beginnings

Giovanetti was born in San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires, in 1998. In his early teenage years he started playing tennis at a semi-professional level, reaching the thirtieth position in the junior ranking of Argentina and touring internationally[5][6]. After spending some months abroad, Giovanetti decided to quit playing sports and focus on video game development.

Career

Then he created You Deserve, a video game to raise awareness about bullying, which sold in the first hours of its launch nearly 20,000 copies on the Steam distribution platform, with a budget of around 180 euros and with the collaboration of Spanish influencer Jordi Sanchis[7][8]. Given the boom generated with You Deserve, Giovanetti founded in 2016 the corporate gaming company TGA, incorporating companies such as Nestlé, Telefónica, Helm, Bayer and Novartis among its clients.

TGA has been developing games focused on branding and personnel training, a branch it began to focus on in 2020 due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the need for companies to conduct remote training[9]. In 2020, the company developed their first community videogame, an gender which aims to promote an artist or entity and create a bridge with its audience.

In December 2020, Giovanetti was included in the list of the "35 Most Innovative Latin Americans" published by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[10][11]

During 2021, Tomas Giovanetti has participated in the event organized by La Nación called Management 2030, and is part of the jury in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Latin America contest.
