Tisha Coiner (pronounciation: tee-shuh coy-ner) is an American writer and author. One of her most popular stories is 'Thelma Rae' which appears in a fine collection of texts. A Cup of Comfort for Friends (2000), a book about friendship. There is very less information about her and no one knows her real name if she has one.

Thelma Rae is a Account/Story of Tisha's mother "Thelma Rae". It explains how Thelma and Tisha were best friends who played with each other.Tisha eventually at the latter part of the story marries a unnamed person and has a kid named Tessa Rae. As the story progresses, Thelma eventually dies because of terminal cancer. Afterward, Tisha tells her kids what they used to do with her mother.
