Tingai is a small village of 329 hectares in Mahasi Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tingai depends on Bahraich (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tingai's pin code is 271902[4], and village code is 06487200. The area of Tingai is segregated as 206.24 hectares irrigated area, 163.61 hectares unirrigated area. the 4.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 34.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tingai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Tingai is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2495 and has total administration over 543 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bahraich (MB) and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
