Tina M. Thomas is an American psychotherapist and author whose work focuses on personality psychology. She developed a theory that links personality types from the Nine-Point Personality System to neurotransmitter patterns, which she termed the "Neurotransmitter Theory of Personality."
Education
Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Biopsychology) from Union Institute and University in 2002.[1] She holds an MSW from Tulane University, a BSN from the State University of New York at Albany, and a nursing diploma from Charity Hospital School of Nursing.
Career
Thomas is a licensed clinical social worker, certified Gestalt therapist, and registered nurse. She has worked as a medical social worker, nurse, and psychotherapist. She has served as director of the Gestalt Institute and Relationship Center of New Orleans.[2]
She has presented her theory at professional conferences, including the International Enneagram Association.[3]
