Tim Urban (born November 12, 1982[1]) is an American writer, illustrator, and blogger. He is the creator[2] of the long-form blog website Wait But Why. He is also the speaker in the third most viewed Ted Talk of all time.[3]
Early life and education
Tim Urban graduated from Newton South High School, in Newton, Massachusetts.[4] He then attended Harvard University, graduating with his bachelor's degree in Government.[1]
Wait But Why
In 2013, Tim started Wait But Why with Andrew Finn.[2] Since its inception, the blog has garnered more than 10 million unique viewers, among them being Elon Musk and Evan Williams.[2] The blog covers various topics, ranging from relationship advice to artificial intelligence.[5][6]
