Tim Reid (born March 19, 1969) is a British TV comedy writer and speaker on inspiring creativity and innovation. He is known for co-writing and co-creating, Peter Kay’s Car Share[1], a comedy sitcom that
won the BAFTA for Best Scripted Comedy, and UKTV’s Meet The Richardsons[2], starring comedians Jon
Richardson and Lucy Beaumont
Career
In 2015, Reid[3] co-wrote Peter Kay’s Car Share[4] with his colleague, Paul Coleman. The sitcom became the
most-streamed premiere on the BBC One catch-up service, BBC iPlayer.[5] In 2020, he co-wrote Dave’s
Meet The Richardsons with Lucy Beaumont.
Reid has also delivered keynote talks to different organisations and assisted clients, including beer
brands, broadcasters, confectioners and condom makers.

Reid was born in Birmingham, England. He got his high school education from Solihull School. Reid is
