Tiktikiya is a small village of 310 hectares in Pirawa Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tiktikiya depends on Pirawa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 12.65% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tiktikiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tiktikiya's pin code is 326036[4], and village code is 04105800. The area of Tiktikiya is segregated as 18.44 hectares irrigated area, 139.25 hectares unirrigated, the 126.65 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.09 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pirawa and Jhalawar to sell ghee and make their living.
