Tigariya is a small village of 1557 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tigariya depends on Chomu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 978.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tigariya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tigariya's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01485800. The area of Tigariya is segregated as 978 hectares irrigated area, 259 hectares unirrigated, the 278 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tigariya has One post office (Chaksu S.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Tigariya has One bank, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Tigariya is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 8546 and has total administration over 1242 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 2070 male, 1503 female with 2839 (79.46%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1921 males and 918 females. 1005 males and 718 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 64 male and 11 female agricultural labor. 734 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chomu and Jaipur to sell carpet making and make their living.
