Thomas Warren Long (1832 or 1839 - October 25, 1917) was a minister and politician in Florida. He served in the state legislature. He fought against the Confederacy during the American Civil War.[1]
He was born into slavery on a plantation in Jacksonville, Florida in 1832.[2] He eacaped and fought with the Union Army during the American Civil War.[3][4]
He helped establish churches for former slaves in Florida.
