Thomas Jefferson Richlieu Faulkner was a Liberian politician who ran for presidency in 1927 and 1931, however, he never became president due to the extremely fraudulent 1927 elections.
Born in North Carolina, 1869, he would move to Liberia with his family at age 12, there he would start his life as a "business man", but it was later discovered that he was actually involved in sending slaves to the Spanish Colony of Ferdnand Po, in modern day Equatorial Guinea.
