Career

2015- 2017: Career beginnings

Cutting his teeth with the release of Otikes in 2015, Theo’s musical career evolved while still in High School. The single was followed by Flora and Fauna, an EP that received radio attention[1][2] in 2016. Theo left his final year of High School to pursue music, selling CD’s and playing live shows[3]; including the now published live album A Short Performance (Live).

2018 - 2022: Songbroker, Taranaki Hard, and International Collaborations.

In September of 2018 Theo signed a Publishing deal with Jan Hellreigel's New Zealand Company Songbroker Music Publishing.[4]

During 2019 Theo released Albums Feargus and Outsider. Before the year was out these were followed by the EP Fayrghus and the self titled-album Theolonius.

In 2020 Theo collaborated with Lil B for the single Hope[5], and Lord Narf for the single Blood Donor; Blood Donor receiving a positive review from The Pit London.[6]

During 2022 TV3 New Zealand's Documentary Mini-Series Taranaki Hard[7] also licensed 5 of Theo's songs. 2020 also saw the release of xo, his most popular album to date.

During 2021 Theo released the album Hollywood (Deluxe) and the Single Ocean of Emptiness. Ocean of Emptiness was described by his then Publisher Jan Hellriegel as “a beautiful electronic orchestral track"[8].

2022 saw the release of the compilation Album The Rest, a collection of previously unreleased material; some previously supplied to New Zealand DJ's for radio play[9].

December of 2022 Theo also released a remix of Ukrainian Rapper Layaboutguy's single Страшный Сон.[10]

Theo during 2022 also produced South African Rapper Gyre's single Fem Physique, receiving widespread coverage in South Africa.[11][12]
