Theekariyan Kalan is a small village of 1269 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Theekariyan Kalan depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Theekariyan Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Theekariyan Kalan's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02772900. The area of Theekariyan Kalan is segregated as 886.71 hectares irrigated area, 31.12 hectares unirrigated, the 221.62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 129.42 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell eeathen pots and make their living.
