Theekariya Charnan is a small village of 534 hectares in Bundi Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Theekariya Charnan depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Theekariya Charnan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Theekariya Charnan's pin code is 323021[3], and village code is 02766900. The area of Theekariya Charnan is segregated as 369 hectares irrigated area, 13 hectares unirrigated, the 12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 140 hectare area not available for cultivation.
