Theekariya is a small village of 284 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Theekariya depends on Partapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include ,"", One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Theekariya is also near by One lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Theekariya's pin code is 327605[4], and village code is 03407300. The area of Theekariya is segregated as 116.02 hectares irrigated area, 83.11 hectares unirrigated, the 44.73 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.
