TheLorry is a company that provides lorry rental and deliveries services with drivers on its mobile and website.[1][2] It was founded in 2014 by Nadhir Ashafiq[3] and Goh Chee Hau. It operates in cities across South-East Asia connecting over 65 thousand users with more than 15,000 vehicle registered . TheLorry currently available in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
History
Established on 7 September 2014.[4] [5]
On 2015, closed a funding round with KK Fund and raised US$150,000. The company expanded the team to 10 members and added a key account vertical to the services.
On 2016, The company expanded the operations to Singapore and grew the team to 30 members and strengthened house moving and key account verticals. Closed a funding round with SPH Ventures and Elixir Capital and raised US$1.5 million.[6]
On 2018, The company got a contracts from multinational corporations for the distribution of FMCG and bulky e-commerce deliveries.
On 2019, closed a funding round with First Floor Capital, PNB-Inspire, CSV, ADIF, as well as SPH Ventures, and raised another US$5.85 million.[7] Expanded the team to over 100 members. Expanded the operations by providing Small & Medium Enterprise solutions.
