Tharda is a small village of 806 hectares in Sujangarh Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tharda depends on SUJANGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tharda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Tharda's pin code is 331507[4], and village code is 00664700. The area of Tharda is segregated as 737.14 hectares unirrigated, the 49.6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.54 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tharda is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 898 and has total administration over 141 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SUJANGARH and Churu to sell ghee and make their living.
