Tharaul is a small village of 359 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tharaul depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 112.26% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tharaul is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tharaul's pin code is 326033[4], and village code is 04037500. The area of Tharaul is segregated as 123.46 hectares irrigated area, 166.47 hectares unirrigated, the 43.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 26.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.
