Thapenra is a small village of 189 hectares in Kheragarh Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thapenra depends on Shamsabad (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thapenra's pin code is 283119[4], and village code is 01618500. The area of Thapenra is segregated as 147 hectares irrigated area.
