Thal is a small village of 768 hectares in Kishangarh Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thal depends on Kishangarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 302.09% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thal is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thal's pin code is 305801[4], and village code is 02487300. The area of Thal is segregated as 302.09 hectares irrigated area, 323 hectares unirrigated, the 81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 62 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Thal is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1632 and has total administration over 273 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kishangarh and Ajmer to sell mawa and make their living.
