Srinath Singh (1901-1996) born in a small village Manpur ,district Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh , India. He was a poet, writer and an editor. He edited some of the well known magazines like "Balsakha", "Saraswati", "Sishu", "Deshdoot", "Hal", "Balbodh", "Didi" etc. He had a big contribution towards hindi children poetry, some of his work were "Seekho", "Makhi ki Nigha", "Ek Sawal" etc.
