Thakariyas is a small village of 1325 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thakariyas depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thakariyas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Thakariyas's pin code is 341316[4], and village code is 01767700. The area of Thakariyas is segregated as 1170.92 hectares unirrigated, the 19.87 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 134.25 hectare area not available for cultivation.
