Thakar Khera is a small village of 2396 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Thakar Khera depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 335.16% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Thakar Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Thakar Khera's pin code is 344021[4], and village code is 02168200. The area of Thakar Khera is segregated as 335.16 hectares irrigated area, 1908.7 hectares unirrigated, the 118.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.
