Thadomal Shahani Centre For Management[1], part of the Shahani Group of Institutions is a business school for international management in Mumbai, India with international faculty members.

Also known as TFSCM, it is led under the Shahani Group by Dr. Akhil Shahani, Managing Director and fourth-generation education entrepreneur along with his mother and chairperson Maya Shahani[2]. They are also on the board of Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board that runs 27 institutes under its umbrella, including Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai.

History

As a brand, TFSCM under Smart Institute (a part of the Shahani Group) began as a brick and mortar institute in 2011, and turned to a mobile app ecosystem of seven applications and six offline locations, with more than 1,00,000 free students registered on the platform.[3] The Shahani Group has a legacy of over a century in the education sector and is looking to expand its presence in the country with TFSCM under its wing.

In December 2019, Smart Institute received funding worth $1.5 million from a group of HNI investors and family offices. Ventures to expand its presence in 30 cities via Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management and Thadomal Shahani Centre For Media And Communication, with a focus on the Indian edutech market.[4]

Courses offered by Thadomal Shahani Centre For Management (TSCFM) include Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diplomas and degrees, while its app-based ecosystem offers options to cater to all student segments.[5] These primarily include:

Achievements

Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management is the only institute awarded by CII for industry interaction. The Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management ranked third among top choices for Indian management students, in a survey conducted[6] by The Outlook Group Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management adopted the Utkarsh Global Foundation,[7] a not-for-profit that works along with the government to promote social welfare.

Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management has a state-of-the-art campus at Mulund, in Mumbai. The campus also operates as the new Global Headquarters for United Civilization by the Global Dialogue Foundation.[11]
