Terry Madenholm is a Polish-Swedish[1] archaeologist and writer.[2]

Education and work

Madenholm earned a master’s degree in classical art and archaeology from King's College London. She has worked on archaeological projects in Europe, the Middle East and South America. Her archaeological work is focused on the application of non-invasive technologies, including Lidar, satellite imagery, and drones, which allow the detection of past human activity in often remote areas.[3][4] She was featured in 2021 in the heroes edition of the Red Bull magazine, The Red Bulletin for her work with 3D mapping of endeared heritage in South America [5]. Prior to that she was involved in research projects at the British Museum at the department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan and the department of Greece and Rome. She has also contributed to a conservation project at the Natural History Museum, London (the department of Life Sciences).

Journalism

Madenholm is also a writer for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
