Tera is a small village of 446.7 hectares in Baghpat Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tera depends on Aminagar Sarai , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tera's pin code is 250606[4], and village code is 01051500. The area of Tera is segregated as 384.28 hectares irrigated area, 3.49 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 58.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tera is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3310 and has total administration over 570 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
