Tejus Kancherla, (Born 13 October 1988) is an Indian actor, who primarily works in the South Film Industry. He made his acting debut in a trilingual movie Ulavacharu Biryani.[1], produced and directed by veteran actor Prakash Raj[2]
Early Life
Tejus Kancherla born and raised in Hyderabad[3] hails from a non-filmy background has completed his early education from Hyderabad Public School[4], Begumpet, to pursue his passion towards acting and moved to Mumbai for an acting course.
Career
He started his career as an Assistant Director under Director Teja[5] for the movie Neeku Naku Dash Dash[6]. He made his acting debut in a critically acclaimed trilingual movie Ulavacharu Biryani (Telugu), produced and directed by veteran actor Prakash Raj. He was nominated for The Best Debut Actor for SIIMA Awards.
In 2018, he appeared in a coming-of-age buddy comedy movie Husharu[7], which has been a Block Buster at the Box Office. He recently appeared in a comedy-thriller movie Uruku Patela[8] as Patela, which he wrote and played the lead role of a small-town village guy who is stuck in between Love and Deceit.
