Teekhi is a small village of 247 hectares in Deogarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Teekhi depends on DEOGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Teekhi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Teekhi's pin code is 313331[4], and village code is 02975200. The area of Teekhi is segregated as 17 hectares irrigated area, 19.27 hectares unirrigated, the 51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 160 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of DEOGARH and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
