Ujjwal Chaurasia (born: January 12, 2002), better known online as Techno Gamerz, is an Indian YouTuber, gamer and streamer from New Delhi, India.[1]He is known for his gameplay videos. He initially gained popularity through his GTA V gameplay videos.

Personal life

Since the early stages of his life, he has enjoyed playing video games. The first video game he played was "Snowbros", which he used to play at his brother's house. After some time, he started playing GTA: Vice City and his interest shifted towards it because of the freedom it provided to the player, allowing them to do whatever they wanted in the game.[1]

Career

Ujjwal created his channel on August 13, 2017[2], and mainly posted gaming tutorial videos. He used to post videos from his brother's phone and was given a strict schedule to ensure that his time spent in gaming and studying was equal.[3]

One of his first videos took off in views, which led to his brother encouraging him to post more. His first viral video was a downloading tutorial for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game, which garnered 250k views and boosted his channel. He then shifted to gaming tutorial videos, which performed well.[3]

He reached 100k subscribers on his channel on January 6, 2019. Additionally, he created his second channel named 'Ujjwal' on January 20, 2018[4], where he posted PUBG videos and occasionally streamed. After posting his first GTA video, his channel experienced exponential growth.[5]

That video was very popular and well received by the audience. Encouraged by the positive response, he continued the series and has posted 151 episodes of GTA 5 to date. His GTA series is the most popular, mainly due to the unique storyline he has created within the game, utilizing some mods.

Other popular video games he plays include Minecraft, Resident Evil, Red Dead Redemption 2, Valorant, and Call of Duty.

In 2023, SuperGaming added him as a playable character in their new game 'Shooter Battle Stars'.[6]

Music

Ujjwal released his first music video, "GAME ON" which chronicles his YouTube journey from 0 to achieving 10 million subscribers at the age of 19.
