Tawariwala is a small village of 13103 hectares in Pokaran Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tawariwala depends on PHALODI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Tawariwala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. Tawariwala's pin code is 345028[4], and village code is 02046200. The area of Tawariwala is segregated as 1679.76 hectares irrigated area, 341.42 hectares unirrigated, the 10430.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 522.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PHALODI and Jaisalmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
