Tatanwa is a small village of 1309 hectares in Sikar Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tatanwa depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 101.77% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tatanwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tatanwa's pin code is 332042[4], and village code is 01696200. The area of Tatanwa is segregated as 101.77 hectares irrigated area, 948.63 hectares unirrigated, the 59.82 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 198.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tatanwa is a census village in the district of Sikar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2768 and has total administration over 466 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
