Tatamar is a small village of 148 hectares in Bharatpur Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tatamar depends on Bharatpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tatamar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Tatamar's pin code is 321303[4], and village code is 01035900. The area of Tatamar is segregated as 113.25 hectares irrigated area, 21.5 hectares unirrigated, remaining 11.06 hectare area not available for cultivation.
