Tarun Chugh is an Indian politician from Punjab, India.[1][2] He is the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party serving as the state in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Ladakh and Telangana in 2020.[3][4][5][6][7] Tarun Chugh is the National Convener of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Abiyan.[8]

Education

Tarun Chugh has received his Postgraduate education degree in Master of Business Administration from Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalaya.[9]

Political career

Chugh has contested from the Amritsar Central Assembly Constituency of Punjab, India against Om Parkash Soni in 2012 and 2017 and lost in the elections.[10][11][12][13] In 2013, Tarun Chugh has appointed as the in-charge of Doaba zone.[14] Tarun Chugh has served as the National Secretary Bharatiya Janata Party, in-charge Andaman and Nicobar Islands in 2014.[15]
