Tarun Bhatanagar is an Indian Author, Novelist and Hindi Short Story writer[1][2][3]. He was born on 24th September 1968 at District Bastar , Near the Raipur capital city of State Chhattisgarh. He has completed his early education at Raipur and higher education persued Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur Chhattisgarh, India.

He has won won the 'Shailesh Matiyani Katha Puraskar'; The novel 'Lautti Nahi Jo Laughee' won the 2014 'Spandan Kriti Samman'; 'Vanmali Yuva Katha Samman' 2019; The 'Hindi Seva Samman' 2015, etc. of the Central Bharatiya Hindi Sahitya Sabha.

Early Life & Education

Tarun Bhatnagar’s early life spent in the rural areas of Bastar and Raipur Chhatisgarh. His writing inspired by the life living of rural areas. He received his primary education in Government Hight School, Bastar and went to Jagdalpur. Then he pursued M. Sc (Mathematics) and MA (History). After clearing exam of MPPSC Tarun[4] Bhatnagar appointed to an IAS (Indian Administrative Service), on probation to the Madhya Pradesh Cadre, under rule of 5(1) of the Indian Administrative Services Cadre Rules 1954.

In the year 2016, Tarun Bhatnagar has been posted as Additional Commissioner[5] (Revenue), Rewa district.

Writing Career

Lautati Nahi Jo Hansi The first Novel by Tarun, was published on the year 2012 with the collaboration of Adhar Publication. Tarun has won so many awards like ‘Shailesh Matiyani Katha Puruskar’ for his first novel.

Raja, Jungle aur Kala Chand After the remarkable trumph of his first novel, Tarun Bhatnagar published his second Novel 'Raja, Jungle, Aur Kala Chand' was published by Aadhar Publications in 2019, which is divided into 41 chapters. Their names are interesting and quirky, such as the king who did not want to die, a twinkling lamp at the crossroads, a war conspiracy, a woman in a glass of light, a moon on a teak sprig, a moon that is soot, etc. It has history and stories too.

Bedava: Ek Prem Katha Bedava was published on 2020, with under the contribution on Rajkamal Prakashan. The novel 'Bedawa', written in a stimulating way, may be a trap for the unseen world of blind, transgenders and traitors. the faith of our times is that the story of these people that don't hand over within the face of hatred and misery. this is often a story of books and lights. there's such an episode of affection that fabricates the philosophy of humanity aside from the love of man and woman. it's state-of-the-art college campuses and therefore the unknown world of jungles. If there's a contemporary town in Spain, then we've a crowded and noisy street. it's a scintillating account of the anxieties, dreams and hopes between losing and finding love.
