Tarpura is a small village of 524 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tarpura depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 199.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tarpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Tarpura's pin code is 341506[4], and village code is 01776700. The area of Tarpura is segregated as 199.05 hectares irrigated area, 292.1 hectares unirrigated, remaining 33.18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
