Targouli is a small village of 46 hectares in Rasra Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Targouli depends on Rasra (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Targouli's pin code is 221711[4], and village code is 09132600. The area of Targouli is segregated as 30.736 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 14.83 hectare area not available for cultivation.
