Taraudar is a small village of 554 hectares in Nagar Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Taraudar depends on Nagar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 19.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Taraudar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Taraudar's pin code is 321205[4], and village code is 00996100. The area of Taraudar is segregated as 126.58 hectares irrigated area, 405 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 18 hectare area not available for cultivation.
