Taragarh is a small village of 230 hectares in Beawar Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Taragarh depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Taragarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Taragarh's pin code is 305923[4], and village code is 02531000. The area of Taragarh is segregated as 0.97 hectares irrigated area, 46.12 hectares unirrigated, the 12.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 53.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.
