Tapara is a small village of 161 hectares in Agra Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tapara depends on AGRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Tapara's pin code is 282009[4], and village code is 01577700. The area of Tapara is segregated as 109 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated area.

Tapara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
