Tantiya is a small village of 326 hectares in Aspur Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tantiya depends on Dungarpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Tantiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Tantiya's pin code is 314034[4], and village code is 03318100. The area of Tantiya is segregated as 3 hectares irrigated area, 49 hectares unirrigated, the 77 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 185 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Tantiya is a census village in the district of Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 734 and has total administration over 172 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
