Tamboliya is a small village of 354 hectares in Simalwara Tehsil in Dungarpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Tamboliya depends on Galiakot, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Tamboliya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Tamboliya's pin code is 314030[4], and village code is 03352800. The area of Tamboliya is segregated as 47.24 hectares irrigated area, 136.5 hectares unirrigated, the 163.46 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 7.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Galiakot and Dungarpur to sell ghee and make their living.
